Welcome to ASU Faculty of Medicine e-Learning Center

e-Learning refers to all organized learning activities under the influence of an educational organization that are carried out with the help of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). 

Blended Learning is our approach for e-learning. It is an approach to course design that meaningfully brings together the best of both face-to-face & online learning. It is not intended to replace either of these individual approaches, rather to build from each to create a new, more effective learning experience for students.

Moodle is the Learning Management System (LMS) used at Faculty of medicine, ASU. It allows teachers and administrators to track attendance, time on task, and student progress. It also allows students to access the course syllabus and lessons, submit homework and track grades.

    E-Courses Development

    Develop and deploy e-courses and provide suitable technical resources to create and maintain an advanced e-learning environment

    E-Learning Training

    Raise faculty staff e-learning competency to select and use a range of e-learning facilities, techniques and tools through an e-Learning Training Program

    Capacity Building

    Build our students’ capacity to allow them to operate effectively within an online learning environment and providing technical support

    Environment Evaluation

    Continuously evaluate the e-learning environment to ascertain ways to improve the online mode of teaching and learning
